New York, New York – July 14, 2026 – A. Buchholtz & Company is pleased to welcome Jean-Pierre (“JP”) Bolat as Senior M&A Advisor. JP’s executive leadership experience includes an extensive background in defense and defense technology combined with additional focus in healthcare and franchising management, further strengthening the firm’s expertise across these sectors.

Prior to joining A. Buchholtz & Company, JP led The Bolat Group, a management consulting firm focused on helping companies of all sizes achieve their growth objectives. He currently advises Japan-based Sumitomo Heavy Industries Material Handling Division, which manufactures specialized cranes for shipbuilding operations, and is also involved in efforts to revitalize the U.S. shipbuilding industry.

After retiring from the U.S. Navy with the rank of Commander, JP advised companies in the cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and emerging technology sectors. He served as Senior Director of Public Sector business development for Oracle Japan, and also served as Military & International Business Development Manager at Triumph Engine Control Systems.

JP is a partner at The Franchise Consulting Company, where he helps veterans identify and pursue franchise ownership opportunities. He also owns and operates the Connecticut franchise of QuickMountTV, the nation’s only branded TV mounting and smart home installation service.

JP graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and earned a Master of Science in Astronautical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, as well as an MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.
